With their patented HoloKote® security watermark system built-in, the Magicard Rio and Tango printers from Ultra Electronics Card Systems set the benchmark for ID card security.

The Tango is the double-sided version of the Rio. Able to print 80 double-sided cards per hour, the Tango 2e is for high-throughput printing applications, and where double-sided printing is convenient for instant card issuance. Both printers are the fastest in their class.

Anti–forgery protection with HoloKote ® and HoloKote FLEX

Magicard is the only brand of printers that offers card security features on all its models. HoloKote is an anti-forgery watermark that prints across the card surface during the normal print cycle. It costs nothing to print the HoloKote watermark – standard dye film ribbons are used to print on standard PVC cards. With the Rio and Tango, a custom HoloKote pattern can be specified, ensuring not only the highest card security, but enabling the customer to print their own logo on the card.

HoloKote® FLEX is designed to offer full design flexibility of your custom anti-counterfeiting watermark printer and is printed across the entire card surface.

The Magicard Rio and Tango printers feature plug-and-play Microsoft Windows drivers and an intuitive LCD display that shows print job status with easy-to-read message prompts and commands.

The Rio and Tango offer multiple encoding options: contactless, contact chip and magnetic stripe.

Both printers are ready for any printer interfaces; USB & Ethernet are included.

Free 3 year UltraCoverPlus warranty

The Rio and Tango printers are fully supported by the comprehensive UltraCoverPlus warranty, which offers free print head replacement and a free loan printer service for a full 3 years from purchase (North America, EU and other selected countries).

A fourth year extended warranty plan can be purchased through Magicard approved dealers.
