Magicard has updated the Pronto printer with a rewritable card feature that is now available as standard on all Pronto printers… at no extra cost whatsoever. Unlike most rewrite printers in the industry, the Pronto printer allows you to print in full color or rewrite in a choice of 2 colors, black or blue, on a rewritable card.

With the Pronto, businesses looking for a complete solution to print loyalty, visitors or promotion cards in low volume can print their card design in full color as usual using a YMCKO film. Then setting the Pronto in rewritable mode is easy; just remove the YMCKO dye film from the printer and close the lid. The rewrite feature allows you to print, erase and update information in blue or black over and over!

High quality printing. In addition to this new feature, the Pronto produces a card with a portrait, barcode, logo and edge to edge graphics with 300 DPI resolution. It is ideal for printing in full color on blank cards or for printing monochrome text onto pre-printed cards.

Anticounterfeiting visual security. For the security of your cards, Magicard’s patented HoloKote™ visual security system is built-in. The Pronto enables you to print a choice of four anticounterfeiting transparent watermark designs at no extra cost.

Optional encoding. The Magicard Pronto printer can be ordered with magnetic stripe encoding capabilities so that you can write data to your cards at the same time as printing.
