The Enduro+ is a single-sided printer which can be easily field upgraded to double-sided by means of a simple drop-in upgrade kit. The Enduro+ Duo is pre-configured as a double-sided printer.

The patented Magicard HoloKote® anti-forgery card protection eliminates the threat from fake IDs.
HoloKote is an anti-copying watermark printed across the entire card surface. When the card is tilted, the HoloKote watermark provides visual authentication. There is no additional cost involved in printing HoloKote cards.
How HoloKote is printed onto the card.
Color cards are printed using a thermal transfer YMCKO dye film. After the color image has been printed onto the card, the clear Overcoat panel is applied to protect the image from fading or scratching. Magicard’s thermal transfer printer models have a unique facility called HoloKote for frosting a security watermark into the clear overcoat during the print process. This is a patented feature and unlike most other security logos, it involves no extra cost of printing.
Available on all Magicard printers (except the Prima), the built-in HoloKote watermark is a user option controlled by driver settings.

Completely unique to Magicard, HoloPatch cards have a highly reflective gold ‘super diffuser’ seal.
How do HoloKote and HoloPatch work together as a visible security feature?
The unique HoloKote feature is daylight visible by tilting the card to view the watermark pattern.
When used with the optional Magicard HoloPatch card stock, one of the HoloKote logos is highlighted by a highly reflective gold 'super-diffuser' patch, making the logo clearly visible under all lighting conditions. HoloKote with HoloPatch has a similar appearance to credit card hologram seals. It provides a distance visible security mark allowing a security guard or colleague to easily verify badge authenticity from a distance of six feet or more. It’s the ultimate in card security simplicity.
With the built-in Ethernet capability on Magicard printers, users obtain greatly enhanced operational efficiency, especially for large facilities with multiple ID card printers such as universities, events organisations, retail and other public venues.
Having multiple printers on the network allows printing to continue while a ribbon is being replaced on one printer. This duplication increases overall system reliability; since any PC can print to any card printer on the network, there can be immediate rollover to working machines in case of technical issues with a PC workstation or a printer.
Card printing flexibility is also substantially increased by network connectivity. For example, a PC workstation creating identification cards can now be located in a different room or in a different building from the card printer. Or, a card printer can be located near high-volume workstations yet be shared by users who only occasionally print cards and who are located in other areas.

Double sided cards at the touch of a button
Duplex printing for convenient one-stop issuance of double-sided cards, and for batch printing applications. Duplex ID badge printers print both sides of your card in one pass, eliminating the time consuming process of manually flipping your cards. Duplex ID badge printers also help to ensure that you don't smudge your cards or damage your printhead from unnecessary handling.

Edge to Edge Printing
High quality 300dpi images, with true colors, right to the edge of the card.
All Magicard printers are designed to print cards edge to edge.
Retransfer printing technology offers the best edge to edge printing quality because of the method of applying the image onto the card thanks to a ‘soft roller’ that wraps the image around the edges of the card.
With direct printing onto the card, the quality of edge to edge printing depends on the quality of the card. The cards used need to be flat and have clean edges.
