ID card printer could make a convincing copy of your card.

Holokote

Exclusive to Magicard, HoloKote anti-forgery card protection eliminates the threat from fake IDs. HoloKote is a watermark printed across the entire card surface that provides visual authentication when viewed at an angle. It is printed using standard consumables - enabling extra security at no extra cost.

Custom HoloKote FLEX

You can add a further degree of security to your ID cards by personalising this secure watermark to your own logo or security design. Compared to custom holographic laminates, it's a mere fraction of the cost, and is available in days, not months. For a modest set-up fee and no extra ongoing printing cost, you can print as many cards as you like with your secure Custom HoloKote Flex design.

Holopatch

HoloPatch cards have a highly reflective gold 'super diffuser' foil square that enhances the visibility of the overprinted HoloKote logo.

CARD ENCODING OPTIONS...

Combi encoding

All Magicard printers are available with a combi card encoder as an option. This combination encoder supports both contact chip and the most common contactless technologies: Mifare, Desfire and iClass.

Mag stripe

Magnetic encoding is available as an option on the full range of Magicard printers. This dual coercivity HiCo/LoCo option offers encoding on all three tracks with complete user format flexibility.

OPTIONS FOR THE PRIMA 4...

Holographic laminates

Standard or custom holographic laminates are available for Prima 4 printer, for visual security combined with card protection. Standard holographic laminates provide attractive security features without the setup cost. For highest security, special order laminates can include features such as holograms, micro text, and color changing images.

UV printing

A special color ribbon with an additional ultra violet panel (YMCK-UV) is available for the Prima 4 that allows the printing of invisible photographs, logos, text or symbols. The UV ink is not detectable to the naked eye, it is only visible under UV light.
